Biography

Mark Herz is an accomplished classical guitarist and dedicated music educator deeply embedded in the Montreal music scene. After completing his Bachelor of Music in Performance (guitar) at McGill University, he earned his Master's degree in guitar performance in 2023 from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal.

At the Conservatoire he studied under the supervision of renowned guitarist Jérôme Ducharme. With over a decade of teaching experience, Mark has mentored students of all levels, and every year since 2022 at least one of his students has placed on the podium at a Quebec competition (Concours de musique de la Capitale, Classival, Société de guitare de Montréal).
