The lessons in detail
A new neighbourhood on old railway shops
Angus was built on the site of the Canadian Pacific's former Angus railway shops. Since the 1990s, whole streets of condos, townhouses and co-op housing have gone up there. The neighbourhood is young in the literal sense: many families with small children and young professionals.
Recent buildings, quieter walls
The recent buildings in Angus are generally better soundproofed than old plexes. Add the moderate volume of a nylon-string classical guitar, and evening practice causes almost no trouble with the neighbours.
Parents who start too
A parent who sits in on a child's lessons often ends up wanting to learn as well. A parent lesson and a child lesson can follow each other in the same visit, each with its own programme.
What to have ready
- ✓ A stable chair without armrests.
- ✓ A music stand.
- ✓ A nylon-string classical guitar in the right size for the student.
- ✓ Missing something? Mark can help you get all the required material during the lesson.
